Overview
Queest β pronounced like "quest" β is one of the longest-established snowmobile areas near Sicamous, British Columbia, and a true Western Canada classic. On a clear day the views over the Eagle Valley, Mara Lake and Shuswap Lake are tough to beat. The terrain runs a little steeper than neighbouring Blue Lake, but there's a line for every ability across roughly 35 square kilometres of alpine riding country β from a relaxed meadow around the A-frame cabin to punchy hill climbs further north. With elevation topping out above 2,000 metres, the season routinely stretches well into spring. The ride up to the A-frame cabin is worth the trip for the scenery alone. Use extra care in marginal weather (there are cliffs northeast of the cabin to steer clear of), sign in at the cabin before you ride, check the avalanche forecast for Queest Mountain, and carry overnight survival gear.
